PCB Learning Sessions

Follow structured reading sessions about PCB manufacturing, assembly, design release and testing.

Turn a technical topic into a working decision

These self-guided reading sessions connect the engineering library to practical project reviews. Choose a session, read the linked material and finish by documenting a decision or open question for your own board. The resources are written learning material; no live event registration or video recording is implied.

Session 1: from CAD to fabrication

Review the manufacturing sequence, identify the files used at each stage and inspect your own release archive. Your output is a revision manifest with clear layer, outline, drilling and board-specification information.

Session 2: assembly readiness

Review the BOM, placement data and population variant together. Identify ambiguous references, package options and polarity details. Your output is an assembly exception list with an owner for each unresolved item.

Session 3: stack-up and interconnects

Map the important signals to their reference planes and intended transitions. Your output is a proposed stack-up and a list of impedance or via structures that require manufacturing review.

Session 4: verification and acceptance

Separate visible assembly checks from electrical and functional coverage. Your output is a test and documentation brief that can be included in a quotation.
