Industrial PCB Assembly and Manufacturing

Design industrial boards around electrical noise, thermal conditions, vibration and serviceability.

Turn the application into a build specification

Industrial electronics may combine sensitive measurements, switching power stages and field wiring on the same assembly. Translate the installation environment into design requirements before choosing materials or inspection methods.

Power and thermal design

Document steady-state and transient loads, enclosure airflow and expected ambient temperature. Copper area, thermal vias, component placement and mechanical heat paths should be evaluated together.

Field interfaces

Connector retention, surge exposure, grounding and isolation requirements influence both layout and assembly. Keep noisy switching paths away from sensitive measurement circuits and preserve intended return paths.

Lifecycle planning

Long service life can exceed component availability. Maintain approved alternates, firmware versions and a controlled build record so a later replacement does not silently change product behavior.

What to include in your project brief

  • The actual operating environment and expected product lifecycle.
  • Fabrication, BOM and assembly data under one revision.
  • Required inspection, testing, traceability and shipment records.
  • Any supplier qualifications or handling restrictions that must be verified before release.
