Use these answers to prepare a clear project brief and resolve scope before a manufacturing release.
Is a preliminary price a manufacturing approval?
No. A price estimate may depend on assumptions that still need file review, component availability and engineering clarification. Keep the accepted quotation and approved release together before authorizing production.
What should I enter when a detail is undecided?
State the requirement and identify the decision as open. For example, provide the impedance target while requesting a proposed stack-up. Do not select an arbitrary value that could be treated as a production instruction.
How should quantity breaks be compared?
Use the same design revision, component population, inspection and delivery assumptions. Distinguish one-time tooling from recurring unit costs. Include the treatment of excess components when comparing assembled-board totals.
Where are quote requests submitted?
Use the manufacturing quotation links to submit a request through the quotation destination. The site contact form is available for general project questions. A submitted question or quote request does not place an order.
