Method and units
The load reflection coefficient is ΓL = (ZL − Z₀)/(ZL + Z₀). The launched step is V × Z₀/(ZS + Z₀), and the first load step is the launched step × (1 + ΓL).
Model limits
Assumes a lossless line and purely resistive source and load. It reports the first arrival, not a full time-domain simulation or the final settled waveform.
