Use this worksheet with the KiCad export workflow and the general quote checklist. It helps you record whether the files needed for a manufacturing review are present. It does not generate fabrication files or submit a quotation automatically. You can print this page or copy the checklist into your project record.
Fabrication package
- Revision and release date recorded.
- Board outline and dimensions verified.
- Copper, mask and marking outputs reviewed.
- Drill files checked for units, plating definitions and registration.
- Layer order, material, thickness, copper and finish specified.
Assembly package
- Exact BOM and population variant included.
- Placement file side, units, origin and rotation conventions checked.
- Assembly drawings identify polarity, pin 1 and special operations.
- Customer-supplied and purchased components distinguished.
- Programming, inspection and functional-test requirements included.
Final handover
Record the requested quantity and delivery target, then remove obsolete files from the archive. Reopen the completed archive and verify its contents independently of the working CAD folder. Keep the approved archive with the accepted quotation and subsequent engineering correspondence.
