A practical agenda for a project review
Bring design, purchasing and manufacturing stakeholders together around one released or proposed revision. Define the decisions required from the meeting, distribute the relevant drawings beforehand and assign a person to record conclusions. This page provides a workshop format; it does not advertise a scheduled event.
Work through the manufacturing handover
- Scope: confirm quantity, schedule, board construction and assembly population.
- Design: review open electrical, mechanical and manufacturability questions.
- Supply: resolve critical parts, approved alternates and consigned material.
- Verification: agree first-article, inspection, programming and functional-test coverage.
- Release: assign owners and dates to every open item before authorization.
Keep the review decision-focused
Allocate discussion time around the unresolved risks in the actual build. A mature repeat order may need a change and availability review, while a new HDI construction may need substantial stack-up and qualification discussion. Do not substitute a generic slide presentation for decisions tied to the project data.
Required outputs
Finish with an approved scope, an action list and a release status. Store supporting evidence with the revision manifest. If an item remains open, identify whether it blocks purchasing, tooling, assembly or shipment so the schedule reflects the real dependency.
